Mo Farah, Kenenisia Bekele, and Tirunesh Dibaba are three of the best distance runners in the World, not only today, but ever. Mo Farah is the 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist in the 5k and the 10k and has been virtually unbeatable at the distance since 2011. Despite Farah’s Prowess over the longest track distances Bekele is still the World Record Holder in the 5k and 10k. Dibaba was the 2012 Olympic Champion in the 5k and is the current women’s world record holder. All of these runners made long-awaited Marathon debuts last year.
